Since getting her start at Epic Web Studios as an intern in 2019, Erie native Danielle D’Amico has been moving on up — to a BFA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio and her own dedicated office space on the second floor as a full-time graphic designer (socially distancing herself from the first-floor “intern pen”).
In her spare time, she’s experienced much higher elevations — over 13,000 feet above sea level in fact — during a recent visit to the “bougie” and “very hipster” mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. At work, she’s grounded in her mission to present information in a way that is appealing, effective, and usable. “It’s not just about the visual, you got to have a reason behind it.” She loves her job because it calls upon both her “OCD” and artistic tendencies.
Outside the office, Danielle enjoys drawing, painting, reading, and hanging out with her boyfriend and beloved rescue cat Tiny (a hurricane survivor!) When prompted, she admits her older brother and younger sister are okay, too.
