The Erie County Public Library is proud to announce Coding Camp for Teens.

As libraries expand their literacy mission beyond just print literacy to include technology and information literacy, ECPL sees the Coding Camp for Teens as an important mission to teach teens the language of the future and to provide meaningful activates for teens.

Paul Sherer, web designer from Epic Web Studios will run the camp.  He will direct the 13 to 18 year olds on HTML/CSS to create a website and learn fundamentals of web development.  Paul is happy to share with Erie County the benefits he enjoyed from enrichment camps in his youth, with goal of providing resources and tools for continued learning to further teens’ skills in programming.

The camp is free.  The 8 hour camp runs from Monday October 5th through Thursday October 10th at Blasco Library, 160 East Front Street, Erie PA, 16507 from 6:00 p.m. to 8p.m. in the Computer Training room.
